Lacey Lennon creates photographs and video works that collapse realms of performance and documentary. She is currently a 2024-2026 Unseen California Artist in Residence at University of California Santa Cruz in partnership with the Kenneth S. Norris Center for Natural History. Lennon has exhibited her work at / Slash Art, San Francisco; Brown Fine Arts Center Oresman Gallery, Smith College, Northampton, MA; and the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, among others. Her work has been featured in publications such as Artforum, LA Times Image, and Frieze magazine. Lennon holds an MFA from the Yale School of Art Photography program. In fall 2023, she served as a Critic in the Graduate Photography program at the Yale School of Art. Currently Lennon is an Assistant Professor of Photography at California State University, Long Beach, and lives and works in Los Angeles and Oakland, California.
